Ocean - Sea Export Operator - Administrator

A rapidly expanding and successful freight forwarding organisation is looking to add an ocean - sea Export operator/administrator to their existing team. As an Ocean/sea Export operator, your primary role is to provide crucial support to a major new client arranging deliveries and clearances (3rd party) of containers.

ROLE: Ocean - Sea Export operator - administrator - Multi modal LOCATION: Essex BASIC SALARY: £30k to £33k HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm ROLE: Your focus will be on ensuring the successful completion of all shipments and strict adherence to relevant regulations.

This involves the following: Scheduling and tracking shipments, closely monitoring delivery schedules, and providing real-time updates to customers. assisting with all calls that come into the office, discuss and quote rates to clients.

Promptly resolving any issues or discrepancies related to export documentation, customs clearance, or cargo handling. Facilitating clear and effective communication with team members and clients through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean/ sea freight Export Admin or Operations. Experience in time critical operations is advantageous, but not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
