Are you an experienced school administrator who is organised, professional and committed to supporting the smooth running of a school? A thriving primary school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Office Administrator to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy school environment. The Role You will provide efficient administrative support to the Headteacher, School Business Leader and Senior Leadership Team, while supporting the day-to-day running of the school office.

Responsibilities will include: Managing staff absence records, HR administration and recruitment paperwork. Maintaining the Single Central Record and supporting DBS and safer recruitment processes. Organising staff training and maintaining accurate records.

Managing parent communications, newsletters, emails and bookings. Welcoming parents, carers and visitors and following safeguarding procedures. Supporting SEND administration and liaising with parents and external agencies.

Coordinating school trips, clubs, tours and wider school activities. Producing accurate correspondence and maintaining confidential records. Managing the office diary, shared calendar and administrative systems. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Have previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or education setting.

Have excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. Ideally have experience with Applicaa, Arbor, CPOMS and medical tracking systems . Understand safeguarding, GDPR and confidentiality requirements. Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Be professional, approachable and confident when dealing with parents, visitors and colleagues. Work effectively both independently and as part of a small team. Location & Hours Enfield, London 35 hours per week | 8:00am – 4:00pm, term time plus INSET days The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory pre-employment checks.
