Investigate fly-tipping, littering and dog foulingInvestigate abandoned and untaxed vehiclesIssue Fixed Penalty NoticesGather evidence using CCTV and camerasPrepare prosecution cases and witness statementsManage a caseload and meet targetsMaintain accurate recordsDeal with residents and businessesWork with Council teams and external agenciesTypical Day: Investigate complaintsVisit sites and gather evidenceCheck CCTVSpeak with residents and businessesIssue enforcement noticesUpdate case recordsPrepare reports and court paperworkAttend court when requiredKey legislation: Environmental Protection Act 1990, Local Government Act, London Local Authorities Act 1990, Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978 and Clean Neighborhoods and Environment Act 2005.
