Job Description If you know Oracle Finance well enough to go beyond end-user support into configuration, troubleshooting and improvement, this role gives you responsibility for an ERP environment supporting operations across EMEA.A global technology business is looking for an Oracle ERP Application Analyst to join its production support team in Southampton, with a particular focus on Oracle Financials including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Oracle ERP Application AnalystSouthampton£45,000 to £60,000Office-basedPermanentThe roleYou will join a production operations support team responsible for Oracle applications across EMEA, with a particular focus on finance.
Your work will cover General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, alongside the wider integration of finance into other parts of the ERP environment.
You will
Support Oracle E-Business Suite finance applicationsTroubleshoot functional and technical issues across Oracle FinanceConfigure, test and implement changesGather and document business requirementsWork with SQL and PL/SQL to investigate and resolve issuesSupport patching, upgrades and application maintenanceTest Oracle patches, configurations and customisationsSupport incident management and root cause analysisWork with finance users and technical teams across EMEA and the USContribute to smaller projects and system improvementsThe environment is busy and international.
You will work with teams across different countries and operating models, giving you exposure to how Oracle supports finance and operational processes across a large organisation. What we are looking forThe key requirement is functional Oracle ERP Finance experience .You should have experience with at least some of: Oracle E-Business SuiteGeneral Ledger, Accounts Payable or Accounts ReceivableOracle Finance configurationSQL and/or PL/SQLApplication support and troubleshootingTesting configurations, patches or customisationsExperience across areas such as Fixed Assets, Cash Management, E-Business Tax or Oracle sub-ledgers would be useful but is not essential.
A relevant degree would be useful, but strong Oracle Finance experience is more important and applications will be considered from people who have developed their experience through other routes.
