p strong Electrical Design Engineers Mechanical Design Engineers /strong /p p strong Contract | Outside IR35 | Water Wastewater Sector /strong /p p Advance TRS are supporting a leading engineering organisation in the appointment of experienced Electrical Design Engineers and Mechanical Design Engineers to support a growing portfolio of major water and wastewater treatment projects across the UK. /p p This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected engineering business delivering innovative treatment solutions across municipal and industrial water projects.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to engage experienced contract engineers to strengthen their multidisciplinary design team. /p p strong The Opportunity /strong /p p These Outside IR35 contract opportunities offering long-term work on technically challenging projects from concept and detailed design through to commissioning support. /p p Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, youll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a range of water and wastewater treatment schemes. /p p br /p p strong Electrical Design Engineer /strong /p p strong Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Produce detailed electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment projects. /li li Design LV power distribution systems, MCCs, control panels, instrumentation and associated electrical systems. /li li Produce single line diagrams, cable schedules, termination drawings and panel layouts. /li li Develop technical specifications and engineering documentation. /li li Coordinate designs with mechanical, process and ICA engineering teams. /li li Support design reviews, technical queries and project delivery activities. /li li Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, client specifications and UK regulations. /li /ul p strong Requirements /strong /p ul li Proven electrical design experience within the UK water or wastewater sector. /li li Strong understanding of LV distribution, MCCs, instrumentation and control systems. /li li Experience using AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software. /li li Familiarity with relevant British Standards and water industry specifications. /li li Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary project teams. /li li Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). /li /ul p br /p p strong Mechanical Design Engineer /strong /p p strong Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Produce mechanical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities. /li li Design pumping systems, pipework, valves, tanks, pressure systems and associated mechanical equipment. /li li Produce GA drawings, equipment layouts and fabrication details. /li li Prepare technical specifications and engineering documentation. /li li Work closely with electrical, civil and process engineering disciplines. /li li Participate in design reviews and provide technical support throughout project delivery. /li li Ensure designs comply with industry standards and project requirements. /li /ul p strong Requirements /strong /p ul li Proven mechanical design experience within the UK water or wastewater sector. /li li Experience designing treatment plant mechanical systems and process equipment. /li li Strong understanding of pumps, pipework, valves and plant layouts. /li li Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or similar CAD software. /li li Ability to manage multiple workstreams within fast-paced engineering projects. /li li Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). /li /ul p br /p p If youre available, or know someone who would be a great fit, please get in touch ASAP. /p p 📧 charlie.knight@advance-trs.com /p p 📞 07534579078 /p p Referrals are always appreciated - please share with anyone who may be suitable. /p
