As a Packer, you will be responsible for packing our freshly baked products safely and efficiently, ensuring that they are ready for delivery or sale. You will work as part of a team to ensure the products are packed to the highest standard while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Please apply only if you hold a valid UK driving licence, as the role may involve driving a company van between sites to transport packed products.
Key Responsibilities
Pack bread, pastries, and other baked goods in line with company standards and customer requirements Ensure products are protected to maintain quality and presentation Check products for accuracy, quantity, and variety before packing Apply correct labels including product details and best before dates Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and food safety at all times
About You
Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Able to work well as part of a team with clear communication skills Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting Reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions accurately Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success Previous packing or food production experience is an advantage but not essential Shift Pattern: This role operates on a rolling rota, working any five days out of seven each week.
