You will work 22.5 hours per week , where no two days will be the same as you will be responsible for the appearance and maintenance of Braeburn House in Salford,You will turn your hand to all decorating and painting-related tasks as you work towards schedules and maintaining safe working practices when operating hand, power and workshop tools.

Your responsibilities will include

Leading all decorating tasksProper preparation of surfaces for paintingApplying paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers (where risk assessed)Repairing and maintaining painted surfaces, including touch-ups and refinishingEnsuring all decorating work is completed to a high standard and within project timelinesAssisting with the selection and procurement of painting and decorating materials through the correct protocolMaintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly storedFollowing health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentAssisting in regular checks, repairs, and maintenance of all buildingsAssisting the maintenance team where required and cover maintenance duties for periods of absenceAssisting with coordinating and chaperoning contractors on-site, completing any required paperworkTo be successful in this role, you'll need: Previous experience in Painting and DecoratingFace-to-face experience of dealing with peopleAbility to work under pressure, and respond to the Regional Facilities Manager requestsA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicleWhere you will be working: Location : Charles Street, Salford, Manchester, M6 7DUYou will be working at Braeburn House, a modern purpose-built rehabilitation and recovery service for males suffering from a primary diagnosis of a Mental Health illness that have already progressed in their journey of recovery but still require further support and intensive interventions.
