Salary: £16.79 per hour Location: Aberdeen Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 40 Working pattern: Monday to Friday Holiday entitlement : 20 + Bank Holidays About the role Responsible for carrying out painting and decorating works within both occupied and void properties, ensuring homes are maintained to a safe, clean, and attractive standard.
Every day will be different as you work across a variety of residential properties, completing both internal and external decorating projects while delivering a professional service to our residents. What you'll be doing You'll be involved in all aspects of surface preparation, including sanding, filling, wallpaper stripping, repairing damaged surfaces, and applying primers and undercoats to create high-quality finishes.
Using your expertise, you'll apply a range of decorative coatings including emulsion, gloss, satinwood, masonry paints, and specialist finishes, ensuring all work meets our quality standards and client expectations. Undertake painting and decorating works within occupied and vacant social housing properties Complete minor repairs to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as required prior to decoration Ensure all works are completed in accordance with quality standards, specifications, and timescales Working independently and as part of a wider maintenance team, you'll take ownership of your jobs from start to finish, completing minor repairs where required and ensuring work areas are left clean, safe, and tidy.
