Sector: ManufacturingElectronicsType: PermanentLocation: BirminghamSalary Range: 15.00-16.00Pay Frequency: HourlyWe are currently recruiting for a skilled Panel Wirer on behalf of a well-established manufacturer serving the Defence, Industrial, Aviation, Rail, Medical, Scientific, and Oil & Gas sectors. Based at their Birmingham production facility, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of a range of electrical products, from lighting systems through to complex control and distribution panels. Key Responsibilities:Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and cabinetsPoint-to-point wiring and cable routingCrimping, terminating, and soldering cables and componentsReading and interpreting electrical schematics and GA drawingsMechanical and electrical assembly workWorking to high quality and safety standardsSupporting testing and fault-finding activities where requiredEssential Requirements:Previous experience in panel wiring or control panel assemblyExperience with cable termination, crimping, and solderingAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsExperience with point-to-point wiring and cable routingAbility to work independently and deliver work to specificationDesirable:IPC Class 3 / IPC 620 experiencePrototype or development wiring experienceBasic electrical testing experienceWorking Hours:Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00Friday: 07:30 – 12:30Benefits:Competitive salaryOvertime opportunitiesCompany pension25 days holiday plus bank holidaysChristmas shutdown periodImportant:
