Job Description Partnership Accountant Annual Salary: £100k Location: UK Wide Job Type: Full-time Fixed Term Contract Join a leading professional services organisation as a Partnership Accountant. This key position involves the end-to-end management of partner financial arrangements, supporting partners and senior stakeholders across all aspects of partner accounting, remuneration, tax reserves, capital accounts, and financial reporting. Day-to-day of

the role

Partner Remuneration & Distributions: Calculate and process monthly partner drawings and quarterly distributions. Support annual profit allocation processes and maintain remuneration schedules. Prepare remuneration statements and partner reporting.

Forecast partner distributions and tax payments. Administer partner annuity arrangements. Partner Accounts Management: Manage capital, current, and tax reserve accounts. Oversee partner capital contributions and repayments.

Maintain accurate account records and ensure compliance with partnership agreements. Tax Reserve & Partner Tax Support: Coordinate tax payment schedules and liaise with HMRC and external tax advisers. Prepare partner tax schedules and support compliance requirements.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support year-end reporting, prepare partner-related financial reporting, and assist with business planning. Partner Lifecycle Management: Support the onboarding of new partners and manage retirement and exit processes.

Prepare financial illustrations and produce necessary financial confirmations. Governance, Compliance & Systems: Maintain documentation, ensure compliance with governance requirements, and identify system improvements. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted adviser to partners on financial matters and build strong relationships with senior leadership. Required Skills &

Qualifications

Previous partnership accounting and LLP experience. Strong understanding of partner remuneration structures, capital accounts, and UK tax fundamentals. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Excellent analytical and reconciliation capabilities.

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable

Exposure to international environments, experience with SAP or similar financial systems, and knowledge of partnership governance frameworks.
