Job Description MS664 - PCV Mechanic Location: Nottingham Salary: £21.39 per hour Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking PCV Mechanic on behalf of one of clients. Applications from HGV Mechanics will also be given due consideration.
Hours of Work: 37 hours a week (with 30 minutes unpaid meal break). Sunday to Saturday, 5 from 7; varying hours on a rotating shift pattern (Earlies – 05:30 to 13:30, Lates (13:00 to 21:00). Duties &
Responsibilities
To maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. To carry out any repairs as necessary to ensure safe and roadworthy vehicles to a high standard of reliability and quality.
Carry out any reasonable maintenance activities. Adhere to health & safety standards. Skills &
Qualifications
Have a strong work ethic and understand the need to be reliable and flexible. Full UK driving licence. PCV driving licence. Experience of Cummins & Scania drivetrain & electrical systems. Experience of modern electrical systems & OEM diagnostic systems.
At least 3 years post qualifying experience ideally in a main dealer or PSV workshop. Holder of a recognised apprenticeship qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ level 3). Location: Nottingham Salary: £21.39 per hour
