PCV Technician (Days) Parliament Street Garage br br Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely. br The Engineering Department are looking for a skilled and motivated PCV Technician to join the team based at Parliament Street Garage. br About the Role br You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, inspecting, diagnosing and repairing our modern fleet of buses and company vehicles to the highest safety and quality standards. br Key Responsibilities br Our ideal candidate will have both electrical and mechanical knowledge in the HGV / PCV repair industry to enhance our current and proposed vehicle shift rota. br

You will

br Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on PCVs br Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults br Complete vehicle inspections, MOT preparations, and safety checks br Ensure all work is completed in accordance with DVSA and company standards br Accurately complete records br Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime br Maintain a clean and safe working environment br Requirements br You must possess: br Qualified HGV/PCV Technician (NVQ Level 3, City Guilds, or equivalent preferred) with at least 3 years post qualifying experience ideally in a main dealer or PSV or HGV workshop br IRTEC qualification br Previous experience maintaining buses, coaches, HGVs, or commercial vehicles br Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills br Full UK and PCV driving licence br Experience of Cummins and Scania drivetrain and electrical systems br Experience of modern CAN bus electrical systems and OEM diagnostic systems br You will also be able to: br Communicate effectively with colleagues, manufacturers and suppliers br Operate as an efficient team member taking responsibility and ownership when required br Continually develop knowledge and skills and mentor less experienced colleagues br Have a strong work ethic and understand the need to be reliable and flexible br Whats in it for you! br Hours of Work - Monday to Friday role 07.00hrs to 15.00hrs with an early finish on Friday.

37hrs a week br Remuneration and benefits br £19.87 per hour.
