As a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) Pelvic Health youll have the opportunity to provide specialized pelvic health and pediatric physical therapy services in a supportive collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide specialized pelvic health and pelvic floor physical therapy services for pediatric patients.
Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility strength balance coordination posture functional independence and quality of life. Develop individualized home exercise programs and educate parents and caregivers to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
Collaborate with physicians Occupational Therapists Speech-Language Pathologists Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive family-centered care. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) when appropriate.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current Texas Physical Therapist license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
Pediatric physical therapy experience required. Pediatric pelvic health or pelvic floor therapy experience preferred. One year of experience preferred; new graduates with relevant clinical training are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication organizational and clinical skills. Passion for helping children achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.
