Permit Issuer

Reference: 107360Role Responsibilities:Act as an authorised Permit Issuer for project-related activities including maintenance, construction, engineering and contractor works. Review, authorise and issue permits in accordance with the site Permit to Work procedure, ensuring all supporting documentation is suitable and sufficient.

Maintain a strong and visible Gemba presence through regular field assurance activities, workplace inspections and safety engagements. Monitor active permits, coordinating permit suspension, extension and closure activities whilst ensuring compliance with permit controls.

Support contractors and project teams in understanding permit requirements, safe systems of work and GSK site expectations, whilst promoting a positive safety culture. Required Qualifications:Experience operating within a Permit to Work system.

Experience within a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, engineering, construction or highly regulated environment. Strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work, contractor control processes, risk assessment and hazard identification.GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
