p strong PFI Consultant – Lenders Technical Advisor /strong /p p strong Contract: /strong Permanent /p p strong Location: /strong Home-based - with national travel. /p p strong Start Date: /strong Immediate /p p br /p p We are working with a leading PFI consultancy seeking an experienced PFI Consultant to join its growing team, supporting a portfolio of operational PFI projects across the UK. /p p br /p p The business specialises in two key areas: technical advisory to end clients on their PFI projects and handback surveys and best-practice assessments.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across both areas, with a mix of desktop-based technical work, site surveys and direct client interaction. /p p br /p p strong
Key Responsibilities
/strong /p ul li Provide technical advisory services to clients across operational PFI projects. /li li Undertake handback surveys, condition assessments and technical reviews. /li li Carry out desktop reviews of project documentation, existing surveys and contractual requirements. /li li Undertake site inspections across England and prepare clear technical reports. /li li Review lifecycle planning, asset condition and maintenance requirements. /li li Identify technical and operational issues and provide practical recommendations. /li li Work directly with clients, SPVs, FM providers and other project stakeholders. /li li Contribute to the businesss centre of best practice for handback surveys. /li /ul p br /p p strong
Requirements
/strong /p ul li Previous experience within the PFI/PPP sector. /li li Experience in technical advisory, handback, asset management, lifecycle or operational PFI work. /li li Strong understanding of operational PFI contracts and asset lifecycle management. /li li Experience in technical surveys, condition assessments or similar would be advantageous. /li li Strong analytical and report-writing skills. /li li Technical background in Building Surveying, Facilities Management, Building Services, Asset Management, Engineering or a similar discipline. /li li Comfortable working with clients and travelling nationally for site-based work. /li /ul p br /p p This is a predominantly home-based role, combining desktop consultancy with client-facing work and site visits.
