Planner

Overview

In this role you will provide planning support across the project lifecycle within Arcadis’ Resilience practice, contributing to infrastructure and utility projects. You will establish baselines, monitor schedules, and manage change, helping teams make informed decisions and mitigate risks. You will collaborate across disciplines with clients and internal teams, driving effective scheduling and governance. Responsibilities

• Establish approved baseline schedules and implement performance monitoring with clear communication to teams and stakeholders
• Provide insightful schedule performance analysis beyond basic checks to aid informed decision-making
• Proactively engage across disciplines to identify and resolve issues and support team success
• Engage with internal and client stakeholders to develop positive relationships and concise information flow
• Manage the schedule change control process and maintain audit-ready change history
• Adhere to contractual procedures related to NEC 3/4 Accepted Programme and delays
• Participate in communities and initiatives across the project and programme management service line

Key requirements

• Degree-level education or HND in a relevant discipline; equivalent experience
• Ability to work unsupervised with sound judgment and collaborative communication
• Confident in speaking with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
• Ability to facilitate discussions between disciplines and teams
• Understanding of project/programme management, design, engineering and construction principles
• Strong IT skills with Excel and Office 365
• Experience with Planning Tools MSP and P6
