Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload on complex planning matters
• Work on large-scale strategic development and energy/infrastructure schemes
• Handle planning obligations, CIL, and highway matters
• Oversee enforcement, compulsory purchase, judicial reviews and appeals
• Support property acquisitions, disposals, and contentious planning issues
• Collaborate with Partners and cross-office colleagues to deliver high-profile projects

Key requirements

• 4+ years PQE with strong grounding in planning law
• Experience in residential development and/or energy matters (ideal but not essential)
• Excellent communication and ability to handle complex issues
• Strong technical ability, meticulous attention to detail, sound judgement
• Ability to build trusted client relationships
• Passion for energy, infrastructure and sustainable development (advantage)
