We're working with an early-stage AI company building infrastructure that connects trusted industry data with AI agents, initially focused on renewable energy. They already have paying customers and meaningful revenue and are now hiring a Founding AI Platform Engineer to help build the technical foundation alongside the founders.
You'll own Backend systems and APIs powering the platform Evaluation, observability and reliability of AI systems Developer tooling, CI/CD and AI-native engineering workflows Strong Python/backend engineering experience with hands-on production experience building LLM agents, RAG or AI-powered systems.
You should be comfortable working across backend, AI and infrastructure rather than sitting in one narrow lane. Genuine founding-level ownership, direct access to the founders, active customers, meaningful equity and backing from Visionaries Club + Google DeepMind leaders.
