Job Description Role: PlumberLocation: South Dartford and surrounding areasSalary: £38,000 - £38,325 per annum + Company Van & Fuel CardRole SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced Plumber to join a well-established maintenance team, carrying out reactive and planned plumbing repairs within occupied social housing properties across South Dartford and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plumber who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. Working across a portfolio of domestic properties, you'll play an important role in ensuring residents' homes are safe, well-maintained and plumbing issues are resolved efficiently.

The role is field-based, covering South Dartford and nearby areas, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling between properties throughout the working day. The RoleAs a Plumber, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties.

You'll work independently whilst being part of a supportive and established maintenance team. Typical duties will include: Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults and leaksRepairing and replacing taps, valves, toilets, sinks and sanitarywareCarrying out repairs to baths, showers and associated fittingsUnblocking sinks, toilets and waste pipesRepairing and replacing pipework where requiredCarrying out repairs to hot and cold-water systemsReplacing faulty plumbing components and fittingsCompleting general maintenance and making-good worksCarrying out minor multi-trade tasks where requiredDiagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and safelyMaintaining excellent customer service when working in residents' homesUsing a PDA or job management system to receive and update works completedWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused and takes pride in the quality of their work.
