Portfolio Manager - HFT

Overview

In this role you will set up and run an independent trading desk in a global futures business expanding into proprietary trading. You deploy and manage HFT/intraday strategies in futures, build tools, and integrate with the firm’s systems to unlock scalable PnL. A strong track record with high Sharpe and verified results is essential to attract a performance-based payout. This position offers frontline involvement in desk setup, strategy optimization, and cross-asset research at a market-making hub.

Responsibilities

• Set up the trading desk and integrate with firm systems
• Deploy and manage HFT/intraday futures strategies
• Research new alphas and optimize existing models
• Develop tools to support trading operations and desk efficiency

Key requirements

• 3+ years as a Quantitative Trader in futures with a verifiable track record
• Strong Python coding skills; C++ preferred
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in a quantitative field (minimum Bachelor)
