Clearance: SC cleared or eligible

Working arrangement: SC cleared: hybrid, two to three days onsite. SC eligible: onsite five days per week. Must remain UK-based.

Essential skills:

Electricity transmission network modelling within an Energy Management System (EMS).
Modelling substations, busbars, circuit breakers, transformers, transmission lines, and generators.
Network topology, connectivity modelling, and relationships between electrical assets.
SCADA telemetry and mapping live monitoring data to network equipment.
Experience with GE PowerOn, GE XA/21, or comparable transmission EMS platforms.
Understanding of state estimation, power flow, and contingency analysis.
Experience working for transmission operators, electricity utilities, or grid control centres.
CIM standards: IEC 61970 and IEC 61968.
SQL, XML, and Python.
Network model migration, commissioning, and system upgrades.
