PPT Forklift Driver – Food Warehouse

6:30am–6:30pm, working on a shift pattern including weekends

The Role

Quest Employment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced

PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Forklift Driver

to join a busy food warehouse in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is confident operating a PPT and is looking for ongoing work, with the potential for a permanent position. Key Responsibilities: Operating a PPT safely to move food products around the warehouse.

Transporting stock between warehouse areas and designated storage locations.

Loading and unloading deliveries as required.

Supporting picking, packing and general warehouse duties.

Ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Following all health and safety and food hygiene procedures.

Requirements

Previous PPT operating experience is essential.

A valid, recognised PPT qualification is desirable/required, depending on site requirements.

Previous warehouse experience, ideally within food distribution.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, where required.

Flexible to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

What's on Offer?

£13.89 per hour.

Temporary contract until the end of March.

Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
