Job Description HB Partners Limited is recruiting AAT, ACCA, ACA or ATT qualified Practice Accountants on behalf of a well established and growing accountancy practice based near Portsmouth to join its expanding team. The practice provides accounting and tax services to a broad portfolio of small business clients, and is looking for technically strong, client-focused professionals to support its continued growth.
Key responsibilities
Preparing, submitting and reviewing accounts and tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies, including VAT and CIS where requiredProviding training, mentorship and technical guidance to the accounting team, reviewing their work and supporting technical developmentAdvising clients on tax efficiency, cashflow, budgeting and pricingLeading year-end client meetings and conducting client fee reviewsActing as the primary point of liaison between clients and HMRCManaging a portfolio of clientsCandidate
requirements
Full membership of a chartered professional body (AAT, ATT, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)A minimum of five years' experience in practice, managing a broad client baseProficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, DEXT and FreeAgentStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearlyBenefits: Full-time, 36.5 hours per weekHybrid working, with two days' remote work per weekStructured CPD support and genuine opportunities for career progressionHB Partners Limited is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
