An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager to join a well-established and growing law firm in the Daventry area. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring the firm runs efficiently while supporting continued growth and exceptional client service.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners and senior management team, taking responsibility for the operational, financial, compliance, and people management functions of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day management and administration of the practice
- Managing HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Monitoring firm performance, budgets, and operational efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and internal policies
- Managing facilities, suppliers, and office resources
- Supporting Partners with strategic planning and business growth initiatives
- Implementing and improving systems, processes, and workflows
- Supervising and supporting administrative and support staff
- Assisting with risk management and regulatory requirements
- Promoting a positive and collaborative working environment
About You
- Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager, or Legal Operations role
- Experience working within a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Sound understanding of compliance and operational best practices
- Commercially aware with the ability to support business growth
