Our engineering client is looking for a Grinder to join their busy team in Dorset, manufacturing high-precision engineering components. The role will involve: Carrying out precision grinding and honing operations Working from engineering drawings and specifications Using micrometers, verniers and gauges Working accurately to tight tolerances Inspecting components to ensure quality standards are met Learning and developing new machining techniques Candidates should have completed an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training, with a good understanding of engineering principles and precision measurement.
Previous grinding, honing, milling, turning or CNC experience would be beneficial, although specialist training can be provided. Hours: MondayThursday: 7:30am5:00pm Friday: 7:30am11:30am 40 hours per week Pay: £16£18 per hour, depending on experience
