Job Description Press Brake Machinist | Sheffield S20 3FFAre you an experienced Press Brake Machinist who enjoys working with precision machinery and producing high-quality components? The roleAET is looking for two skilled Press Brake Machinist to join our experienced manufacturing team.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled Bystronic press brake machines, creating quality steel components while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Working from engineering drawings, you will use your knowledge and experience to programme machines, check finished parts, and ensure every component meets the required specification. For the two positions you can work either: Rotating Morning and Afternoon shift pattern Pay rate £15.70 per hourMorning shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am 2:00pmAfternoon shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm 12:00amOrPermanent Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8pm to 6am - Pay £16.97 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Press Brake Machinist,

you will

Set up and operate Bystronic press brake machineryProgramme components accurately using engineering drawingsRead and interpret technical drawings, bend symbols, and manufacturing informationProduce components to required tolerances and quality standardsComplete dimensional checks and adjust programmes where neededWork confidently with flat profile drawings and development lengthsIdentify and resolve issues during productionSupport other operators and share your knowledge when requiredAbout our companyFounded in 1989, AET is one of the largest subcontract engineering companies in the North of England.
