Do you have previous experience with hydraulic and mechanical presses? If so, then please read on. The basics: Job title: Press Setter Environment: Manufacturing Location: near Redditch £50360 Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.30pm) Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week Holidays/Benefits: Bonus scheme, salary sacrifice pension, Life assurance, sick pay, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

Overview: With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Press Setter to join the Manufacturing and Engineering team. You will part of a large engineering function of Manufacturing Engineers with a key focus on press set up, tooling, trouble shooting and production support.

The ideal candidate / Press Setter may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Hands-on experience in press manufacturing / press shop operations.

Proven experience with progression, transfer and secondary pressing operations. Experience setting and operating industrial presses and press tooling. Good understanding of press setup, tooling alignment and production requirements.

Strong mechanical aptitude and practical fault-finding skills. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions. Experience using dimensional measuring equipment. Commutable from: Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
