Pricing Actuary, Longevity

Overview

In this role you will support SCOR Global Life’s longevity pricing capabilities across global markets. You’ll price longevity tenders, develop pricing tools in R, and help create new product propositions while coordinating approvals with Group functions. You will execute new deals, enhance pricing processes, and contribute to client relationship management. This is a chance to impact profitability and pricing strategy within a collaborative, global team.

Responsibilities

• Technical pricing of longevity tenders
• Pricing systems development in R
• Development of new product propositions
• Coordination of new business approvals with SCOR Global Life and Group functions
• Execution of new deals
• Enhancement of pricing tools and processes
• Research into demographic assumption derivation
• Supporting client relationship management
• Quote production and pricing basis production

Key requirements

• Qualified Actuary
• Strong programming skills in R
• Experience in longevity pricing, experience analysis, mortality modelling, or longevity research
• Understanding of pension risk transfer and de-risking solutions
• Ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under demanding timelines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
