Pricing Manager - Personal Loans

Overview

In this role you will shape pricing and trading strategies for Hastings Directs personal loan portfolio. You’ll work within the Core Credit Risk & Pricing team to blend data from multiple sources and analytical tools to optimise pricing, automate execution, and drive performance.

You will partner with the Modelling team to identify new pricing factors and provide insights to leadership. Your work will balance commercial value with regulatory and reputational integrity, delivering fair outcomes for customers.

This is a high-impact, data-driven role in a fast-moving, growth-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise pricing strategies to meet financial trading plans
• Drive efficiency and automation in pricing strategy execution
• Collaborate with Modelling to identify pricing factors for competitive advantage
• Maintain management information (MI) for performance tracking and optimisation
• Provide analysis and insights for Management Committee and Board
• Ensure regulatory compliance and protect reputational integrity
• Act as Commercial SME within the business
• Deliver these accountabilities in partnership with supporting analysts

Key requirements

• Price comparison website experience essential
• Real rate pricing experience essential
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with adaptability
• Strong SQL coding skills; R or Python desirable
• Ability to handle vast and multiple data sources quickly
• Commercially aware with focus on short and long-term outcomes
