Primary Teaching Assistant

Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Llantrisant on a full-time basis .

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to make a genuine difference to their learning, development and day-to-day school experience. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

You will provide support to pupils both within the classroom and, where required, on a one-to-one or small-group basis. Pay Rate: from £93 a day Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils where required Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development Build positive relationships with pupils and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment Work effectively as part of a wider school team Teaching Assistant - Requirements Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, caring and empathetic approach The ability to build positive relationships with children of different ages, backgrounds and abilities A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team A commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment Right to work in the UK Why work with Academics?
