In this role you lead and deliver hydrogeological work within Stantec’s UK water team, shaping outcomes for groundwater resources, contamination, and remediation projects. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior colleagues, and translate complex findings into clear client guidance. You’ll contribute across fieldwork, data analytics, and modelling to support sustainable solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver hydrogeological work across varied project types
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders
• Mentor and develop junior hydrogeologists
• Engage in field-based monitoring, drilling supervision, and pumping test design/analysis
• Conduct data analytics, numerical groundwater modelling, and geochemical analyses

Key requirements

• Hydrogeology MSc, PhD, or substantial post-graduate experience in hydrogeology
• Comfort with regulatory, business, and policy environments shaping client work
• Strong written and oral communication, professional demeanor
