NegotiableBristol, England Permanent Our client, is currently seeking a Principal / Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an individual with significant civil engineering experience who is seeking to lead and deliver major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the design and delivery of major civil infrastructure projectsProviding expert consultation and technical leadershipEnsuring design and operational excellence in all civil engineering activitiesDesigning and supervising civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, and water systemsEnsuring projects meet environmental, safety, and structural standardsCoordinating with clients and other engineers for seamless project executionOverseeing project delivery from proposal to practical completion, ensuring quality, cost, and time objectives are metProviding technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and techniciansJob

Requirements

Experience in producing preliminary and detailed Highway designs (s38 / s278 Highways Act)Ability to design Drainage (s104 / s98 Water Act), including strategic and detailed designs, SuDS, flow control structures, and balancing facilitiesExperience in Residential and Commercial external works design, including earthworks assessmentsProficiency in producing technical reports, assessments, statements, and fee proposalsUnderstanding of compliance with relevant standards, policies, and legislation (e.g.
