The client provides holistic structural integrity management (SIM) solutions for offshore structures, including comprehensive engineering & fitness- for -service (FFS) assessments, risk-based inspection (RBI) solutions and facilities engineering support to global customers in the energy sector.
We provide these services all under one roof, enhanced by automated processes to reduce waste and rapid reporting to support risk informed decision making for meeting operational demands. Our Engineering solutions are built on a strong Data informed technological foundation that has earned decades of industry trust and credibility.
We service our customers worldwide operating out of our UK office in Aberdeen. What you can expectLeading and delivering structural integrity management projects, with the ability to perform hands-on engineering assessments involving the following:o In-service analysis of fixed (topsides and jacket) and floating offshore structures including in-place, dynamic, seismic and fatigue analysis o Global ultimate strength-based pushover analysis o Structural reliability analysis o Local topsides and jacket analysis (fire, blast, dropped object and vessel impact studies) o Finite element analysis using Ansys or Abaqus softwareProviding technical assurance to discipline and project tasksProviding technical leadership to engineering team in AberdeenAssisting the discipline manager in business development, tender/proposals management and engineering team building activitiesCoordination with multi-disciplinary teams including project management to deliver projects on budget and scheduleDevelopment of structural design briefs, specifications, operating procedures and performance standardsWhat you bring You are a leader capable of working independently without supervision, possess an excellent technical understanding of offshore structural concepts and are able to develop yourself as a team leader.
