Principal Transport PlannerBristolI'm currently working with a highly regarded transport consultancy that is investing significantly in the growth of its Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal Transport Planner to join a business with an outstanding reputation in the development and infrastructure sectors, while playing a key role in the continued expansion of its South West presence.
The consultancy works on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, logistics, education and major infrastructure developments, partnering with leading developers, architects and public sector organisations throughout the UK and internationally.
The OpportunityJoining a growing office, you'll have the chance to make a genuine impact on both project delivery and the future direction of the team. You'll lead transport planning projects, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth, while working alongside a highly experienced national team.
Key responsibilities will include
Leading the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel PlansManaging projects through the planning process from inception to completionProviding strategic transport planning advice to clients and project teamsBuilding and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationshipsSupporting business development activities and identifying new opportunitiesMentoring and developing junior members of the teamContributing to the continued growth of the Bristol officeAbout YouI'm keen to speak with candidates who have: Experience within a transport planning consultancy environmentA strong understanding of the UK planning system and development processExcellent report-writing and communication skillsExperience managing projects and client relationshipsA commercial mindset and an interest in helping grow a successful regional officeThe ambition to progress their career within a growing businessWhat's on Offer?
