Job Description Principle AI Engineer - Insurance We're currently working with a London Market Insurer who are looking for a visionary Principal Engineer to help redefine what engineering looks like within a rapidly evolving technology organisation.
You'll play a key part in transforming the engineering function from conventional software delivery into an AI-first, agent-driven technology ecosystem. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll influence strategy, shape architecture, drive innovation, and help establish a modern engineering culture where AI sits at the heart of everything we do.
You'll likely bring: Significant experience in software engineering and solution architecture A passion for emerging technologies and innovation Experience leading engineering teams or technical functions The ability to coach, mentor and scale teams as the organisation grows Experience with Salesforce, GCP, MuleSoft or AI platforms such as Claude/Anthropic would be highly advantageous.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills This is a permanent role paying up to £115k and based in the office 3 days per week. Principle AI Engineer - Insurance
