Responsibilities

• Advise on wills, trusts, estate administration and related inheritance tax issues
• Draft and review legal documents for compliance
• Represent clients in negotiations to secure favorable outcomes
• Manage a diverse caseload with attention to detail
• Communicate with financial institutions, tax authorities, and solicitors
• Stay updated on legislation and best practices
• Provide guidance on estate planning and tax strategies

Key requirements

• At least 5 years PQE
• Experience in estate administration including probate and intestacy
• Proficient in grants of representation and inheritance tax returns
• Expertise in Will drafting, including lasting powers of attorney (financial and health & welfare)
• Experience in Court of Protection deputyship cases
• Strong understanding of private client law and related legislation
