As a Private Client Tax Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding the private client practice. You will act as a trusted adviser to high‐net‐worth individuals, entrepreneurs, landed estates, non‐dom clients, and complex family structures.
This is a senior leadership position with significant autonomy, client ownership, and the opportunity to progress to Partner for the right individual.
The role
Provide expert advice on a wide range of private client tax matters, including residence and domicile, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, trusts, estates, and international tax issues. Lead complex advisory projectsAct as the primary point of contact for key clients, building long‐term, trusted relationships.
Identify opportunities to add value and broaden the firm's service offering. Win new clients and business for the firmReview and sign off high‐level tax planning, reports, and compliance work. Mentor and develop a growing team of tax professionals.
Oversee workflow, resource planning, and quality control within the private client teamAbout you: CTA or STEP qualified (or equivalent), with extensive experience in private client tax. Strong technical expertise across UK personal tax, trusts, estates, and international matters.
Proven track record of advising high‐net‐worth individuals and complex client structuresExperience managing and developing teams at a senior level. Ambition to progress to Partner and contribute to the firm's long‐term growth.
