Private Client (Trusts, Tax & Estates) lawyer 8 years’ PQE SHEFFIELD

Well-regarded private practice law firm in Sheffield is looking to recruit a Private Client (Trusts, Tax & Estates) lawyer of 8 or more years’ PQE. The team covers a range of matters for high and ultra-high net worth clients and we have specialists in all areas of trusts, estates and tax with members of the team advising clients with international, agricultural, literary, business and other assets.

Directors and Partners all specialise in particular areas, including acting as independent administrators in high net worth contested estates, advising on complex mental capacity issues, administering cross-border estates and advising agricultural clients.

The successful candidate will help progress and supervise the administration of all types of estates which are being handled by junior members of the team. These will include:

• taxable and non-taxable estates
• estates which may have been settled following family disputes
• estates containing relievable assets including business and agricultural property assets; and

estates with related trusts and estates from which trusts will arise. The individual should also have experience of drafting Estate planning reports and working with business owners/landowners. This role will give you the opportunity to develop professionally, working on high-quality instructions alongside leaders in their respective fields.

There will be a good level of supervisory responsibilities and business development activities will be supported and encouraged. Applicants will either be STEP-accredited or, at least have the desire to become STEP-accredited.
