Our client is seeking a Private Family Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join its highly regarded Family team, handling a varied caseload of divorce, financial remedy and private children matters. Role Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, pre-nuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes, and private children matters. Deliver clear, practical legal advice and high-quality representation, ensuring exceptional client care and the highest professional standards throughout each case.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Firm's East London offices, providing seamless support to clients in multiple locations. Play an active role in the continued growth, success, and development of the Firm's well-established and thriving Family Law Department.
Qualifications Qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in family law, with strong technical knowledge and sound practical judgement. Proven experience managing a varied caseload of privately funded divorce, financial remedy, and private children matters.
Solid understanding of family finance, including cohabitation disputes and related developments. Excellent client care skills, with the ability to deliver clear, pragmatic, and empathetic advice. Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage your own caseload while working collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience advising privately paying clients. Committed to delivering the highest standards of professionalism and client service. Resolution accreditation is essential; advanced Resolution or Law Society accreditations are desirable.
Business development experience or an enthusiasm for building client relationships and supporting departmental growth is an advantage. A team player who enjoys working alongside senior colleagues, supporting junior team members, and contributing to a high-performing Family Law team.
