This is a strong opportunity for a procurement professional who wants exposure to high-profile defence programmes, operating in a regulated environment. Working pattern: Hybrid - onsite 1-3 days per week (site location within the Bristol area).

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of procurement and contract management activity across defence-facing programmesSupport sourcing strategy development aligned to commercial and programme prioritiesManage supplier engagement, tender activity (where required), negotiation and contract award supportProvide commercial/procurement advice to internal stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycleSupport contract mobilisation and ongoing supplier/contract performance managementMaintain reporting on progress, risks, and commercial outcomesJob

Requirements

Experience in procurement / contract management within a regulated environmentSecurity Clearance (SC) strongly preferred (support available to obtain SC if not currently held)MOD/defence procurement experience ideal, but strong public sector procurement backgrounds will also be consideredConfident stakeholder management and able to work across multi-disciplinary teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBenefits: Permanent salary: 55,000-65,000Hybrid working with regular onsite collaboration (1-3 days/week)Opportunity to support major defence clients and develop long-term capability in this spaceIf you're an experienced Procurement Contract Manager (or can be supported through SC clearance) and you're open to Bristol-area hybrid working, please get in touch to discuss.
