Immediate start Procurement Lead role based in Nottingham. This role is a 6 month contract for a leading environmental services company. Client Details My client is a leading environmental service business based in Nottingham looking for a Procurement Lead.
Description Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support business operations. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
Manage procurement budgets and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations. Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs. Resolve any issues related to supplier performance or delivery delays.
Profile You will be an experienced Procurement Lead/Leader, along with: Proven experience in procurement within the industrial/manufacturing industry. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Knowledge of procurement policies and relevant industry regulations. Proficiency in analysing data and managing budgets. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Can commute to Nottingham. Job Offer Negotiable day rate based on experience
