This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative procurement function supporting a diverse range of academic and professional services teams, helping to ensure compliance, value for money and efficient purchasing processes across the organisation.

Your new roleAs Procurement Support Officer, you will provide advice and support on procurement and purchasing processes, ensuring requisitions and purchase orders are processed accurately and in line with procurement policies and financial regulations.

You will review supplier requests, conduct due diligence, maintain supplier records, and support procurement system administration. You will also play a key role in spend analysis and reporting, producing dashboards and identifying purchasing trends and potential risks.

Additional responsibilities will include managing purchasing card audits, supporting users with procurement systems, responding to procurement queries through the service desk. What you'll need to succeedPrevious experience working within a procurement, purchasing, finance or accounts payable environment.

Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting spend data and producing reports. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Capabilities with Agresso softwareAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive approach with the confidence to use initiative and work independently. Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management would be highly advantageous.
