Production Engineer - Electronics/Mechanical/Embedded

Production Engineer Leicester | Permanent I'm currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to join an established engineering company developing and manufacturing high-value, low-volume electromechanical systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being the link between R&D, Production, Quality and Operations , helping bring products from design into manufacture whilst solving the technical challenges that come with it.

The Role

Act as the bridge between Engineering and Manufacturing Support new product introduction and engineering changes Create and maintain work instructions, BOMs and engineering documentation Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause investigations Support the production of complex electromechanical products Work closely with Design, Quality and Production teams to ensure products move smoothly into manufacture What They're Looking For: Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, NPI Engineer, Engineering Technician or Production Team Lead background Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Experience working with engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documentation Understanding of electronics, Embedded systems or mechanical engineering Ability to communicate across both engineering and manufacturing teams This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and making sure products are successfully transferred from development into production.
