Job Description Production Engineer (Aerospace) Location: West Yorkshire Salary:£55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business in their search for a Production Engineer to join their aerospace manufacturing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regulated environment, where you'll play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introduction (NPI) and driving continuous improvement across production.

What's on offer? 5-10% annual performance bonus Market-leading holiday allowance of 31 days plus bank holidays Matched pension contributions up to 5% Share incentive scheme Ongoing training and career development The opportunity to join a successful, growing manufacturer with a collaborative and supportive culture Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer: Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies Provide technical support to production, resolving manufacturing issues and improving efficiency Produce and maintain work instructions, routings and process documentation Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure products are designed for manufacture (DFM/DFA) Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including tooling, fixtures and process validation Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) Analyse production data to improve quality, cycle times and cost efficiency Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Planning and Manufacturing teams Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and industry best practice

About you

Degree qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline Experience within aerospace or another highly regulated manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as stainless steel forming, spot welding and riveting Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Experience using core quality tools including PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, FAIR and APQP Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset Experience working to AS9100 or equivalent quality management systems Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies Experience with CAD, manufacturing planning software, tooling or process validation (desirable) If you're looking for your next challenge within a technically advanced aerospace manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
