Job Description A Production Engineer is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, contributing to the manufacturing, testing and continuous improvement of advanced fire detection products.
The Production Engineer, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, will support day-to-day manufacturing, new product introduction and process improvement, working closely with production, quality and supply chain teams. Responsibilities include: Supporting production teams with technical problem solving and engineering expertiseLeading continuous improvement and NPI activitiesDeveloping and updating SOPs, process documentation and operating instructionsSupporting PCBA testing, test equipment and production softwareInvestigating test failures and driving root cause and corrective actionsDeveloping and improving manufacturing and testing processesWorking with suppliers and internal teams on PCBA testing and new product introductionThe Production Engineer, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, will have the following key
skills
