Production Engineer

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and Yasa.

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to make an impact on production performance.

Responsibilities will include: Troubleshooting production issues on existing equipment Developing a strong working understanding on Multilevel and Single level mechanical & Hydraulic press setting Training and leading others to develop their skills Identifying, planning and implementing continuous improvement projects across production Presenting solutions and ideas to the wider team Required

Skills

Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline Experience in a production/manufacturing engineering environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems Good analytical and communication skills Ability to interact easily with people at all levels Work pattern: Day shift & rotating shift patterns available Day shift - Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm
