You will be central to improving how we build engineered products; focusing on efficiency, manufacturability, and continuous improvement across assembly and test processes. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the production engineering function across manufacturingImprove workflows, routing, and shop floor efficiency in a bespoke production environmentDrive design-for-manufacture (DFM) improvements with design engineersWork closely with fabrication, assembly, and test teams to resolve production issues Lead lean manufacturing and structured continuous improvement activity Identify and deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and lead time Support introduction of new products into production Ensure compliance with H&S and quality standards across operationsAbout YouEngineering background (mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial) Proven experience in a fabrication or engineered-to-order manufacturing environment Strong understanding of lean manufacturing in a low/medium volume production environmentHands-on, practical engineering mindset Experience with chillers, heat exchangers, HVAC, refrigeration or sheetmetal fabrication would be highly beneficial.
