Great opportunity to work as a Production Line Leader for one of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK. Staffline is recruiting for Production Line Leaders for the day and night shift in Alconbury.
Please note: Night Shift vacancies are limited, so early application is recommended. The rate of pay is: - Day shift is paid at £14.50 per hour - Overtime: £18.13 per hour (paid after 48 hours) - Night shift is paid at £18.13 per hour - Overtime: £22.66 per hour (paid after 48 hours) Day Shift : Earn up to £667 per week based on a four-day working week, with overtime opportunities available.
Night Shift : Earn up to £833.98 per week based on a four-day working week, with overtime opportunities available. This is a full-time role and the shift pattern will be: 4 on 3 off 3 on 4 off - 12.5 hours, Shifts are generally scheduled from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
The hours of work are: - 6.30am - 7pm , with two 30-mins unpaid breaks - 6.30pm - 7am , with two 30-mins unpaid breaks As part of a busy and fast-paced operation, flexibility is essential during peak periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas, when night shifts may be required.
This is a temporary-to-permanent role with long-term opportunities for the right candidates. Your Time at Work As a Production Line Leader your duties will include: - Lead, coach, and motivate the team to achieve performance targets and maintain high-quality standards. - Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and customer specifications across all processes. - Deliver an efficient packing operation on a daily basis. - Oversee daily operations, manage production schedules, and promptly resolve any issues. - Provide training and ensure adherence to operational procedures and company policies. - Support manufacturing initiatives and drive continuous improvement, ensuring all KPIs are met and work is within budgetary constraints. - Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the packaging area. - Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. - Ensure accurate record-keeping of production data, waste, and returns.
