Production Operative

iRecruit4 are recruiting for Production Operatives to join a well-established business based in South Cerney.

This is a physically active, hands-on position working as part of a friendly production team, with full training provided and the opportunity to become permanent following a successful temporary period.

Pay, Hours & Benefits for Production Operatives:

• £12.80 per hour (£14.30 per hour including weekly accrued holiday pay)
• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 6:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm – early finish every Friday
• Monday to Friday – No weekend working

Duties for Production Operatives:

• Working as part of a busy production team
• Working on a production line
• Stacking finished timber products safely onto pallets
• Preparing timber products for dispatch
• Wrapping and securing pallets ready for distribution
• Using PPTs and other material handling equipment
• Moving timber products safely around the production area
• Working towards daily and weekly production targets
• Keeping the production area clean, safe and organised
• Following all company Health & Safety procedures

Requirements for Production Operatives:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Someone who enjoys a physically active and hands-on role
• Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
• Comfortable working on your feet and handling physical products
• Own transport is essential due to the location
• Previous production, warehouse or labouring experience is beneficial but not essential
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
