A global company which operates in the industrial and manufacturing sector, with sites throughout the UK. This role is based in Bingley.

Job Description

The Production Planning Specialist will:

• Maintain and improve the ERP system (SAP) for existing, new, and trial codes.
• Create and maintain BOMs, Routings and Quality plans.
• Verify that all production bookings have been completed, including final confirmations and consulting with the manufacturing team to complete paperwork.
• Contribute to projects involving master data.
• Complete production variance analysis and improvements to BOMs/Routings
• Review production records for completeness and correction of booking errors, final confirmation of production records.
• Interaction with Global support functions regarding problem solving and managing through to resolution.
• Support with training in SAP for new operators.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Production Planning Specialist should have:

• Experience in SAP (R3 / S4 HANA) preferred
• Proven experience in a data management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing production support function.
• Good analytical skills combined with high level of resilience and initiative.
• Strong MS office 365 skills, especially MS Excel.

What's on Offer

• Day rate of £160-200, dependent on the level of experience. Inside IR35.
• Temporary contract with potential for longer term.
• Office based in Bingley.
• Immediate start.
